[Resolved] Technical context: Starting around 8:30pm UTC on Friday 2023-05-12, we have performed a planned migration of our DNS servers from one set of external providers to another set for the sumologic.com domain (as indicated in the NS records for sumologic.com domain). There has been no change in the names resolved - all the public endpoints for contacting the Sumo Logic service remain the same. You can refer to: help.sumologic.com/docs/api/getting-started/#sumo-logic-endpoints-by-deployment-and-firewall-security to check out the domain names of the services to be used. Additionally there has been no change in what these names resolve to - i.e. the IP addresses and/or domain names in AWS cloud. Thus for DNS resolution of names under sumologic.com, the responses should be the same regardless if the querying party uses the old servers or the new servers. The only difference is that along the change the DNSSec signing records were changed, specifically the `DNSKEY` record for sumologic.com. Thus, in case of problems with DNS Resolution, we recommend the following actions: 1. Checking whether you have DNSSec enforcement enabled. 2. If possible, temporarily disabling this might make the DNS resolvers working with DNSSec enforcement to pick up the actual records for sumologic.com 3. Otherwise, flush the DNS caches, so that the records are re-read for both sumologic.com/DNSKEY and subsequent lower-level records. The goal is to prevent a situation when there's a mix of old signing keys and new signing keys used (the mix might have occurred due to different cache expiration times).
